- LightOutChicago
- A web or mobile app that takes in coordinates within Chicago city limits and an email address and submits a request to fix broken or burned out street lights.

- TransMurderWatch - #TransLivesMatter
- Women in Tech Datasets - Two-fold project. 1) Collect women in tech data for reporting and accountability work. 2) Provide an interesting dataset for teaching women about data.
- Alliance Community - This project uses Github to empower the NorthBridge Alliance's social justice tech work. There are 2 specific requests for help - one is for documentation and one is for advanced Django.

- Callback Women App - CallbackWomen curates data about conferences for professional programmers, specifically data around: * Gender Diversity, Inclusion, and Access * Outstanding talks given by women and by gender nonbinary people
- LGBTHomelessness - Civic Hack Day project to provide information about LBGT homeless resources in Chicago
